The Big Data Intelligence Centre (BDIC) of the School of Decision Sciences (SDSC) has received a generous donation of HK$380,000 from Pro-Technic Machinery Ltd. This donation will support the Centre’s innovative research in frontier fields such as artificial intelligence algorithms, models, and application technologies, further promoting the centre’s innovations in Industry 4.0, smart IoT, applied technology, and re-industrialization.
To express gratitude for Pro-Technic Machinery Ltd.’s generous support, the Big Data Intelligence Centre held a cheque presentation ceremony on July 11, 2024. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Robert Lai, Managing Director, and Mr. Nicholas Lai, General Manager of Pro-Technic Machinery Ltd., as well as Professor Chan Wai-sum, the Dean of SDSC of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.
